Your call will be placed in a queue. If the queue is full, you will be prompted to please hang up and redial in a few moments.

As each call is answered space in the queue becomes available. The administrative staff will ask you the reason for your call, this is to enable them to allocate your call appropriately.

Bookable Appointments

Each day we have bookable 24 & 48 hour appointments, patients can book online via the Patient Access System or by telephone (selecting Option 1).

Appointments are for one patient, to discuss one problem, and we kindly ask for your cooperation with this policy.

Please request an interpreter if required to allow us to organise this in advance.

Patients requiring urgent medical attention can call the Practice at anytime from 8.30am-6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Telephone Consultations

The administrative team are available 8.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Requests for a telephone consultation should be made at 8.30am. Each GP has a limited number of slots for telephone consultations. After 10am only calls relating to a medical emergency can be dealt with. Routine enquiries should wait until the next day.

If you request a telephone consultation the administrative team will ask the reason for your call and a contact number to allow the GP to return your call. Please keep the telephone line free to receive the call.

Home visits

Home visits are available at the discretion of the GP.

Requests for home visits should be made before 10am, if possible. Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Practice, in Regency Medical Centre.
