Patient Triage

Available 8.00am - 12.00 pm Monday to Friday

Online Patient Triage - a new alternative means of contacting the Practice. No need to telephone or queue, simply complete an online form and we will contact you within 24 hours.

Please complete the online form and your request will be triaged by a GP within 24 hours. Our telephone options remain the same but we hope this will offer an easier and more convenient means of contacting the practice.

What is Patient Triage?

A simple online form that allows the Practice to receive information directly from the patient or their carer about any medical concern, medication query, or administration question.

This will allow the GP partners to ensure the patients with the most urgent needs are appropriately treated. You may not need an appointment, you may be signposted to other services, for example the pharmacy or have tests requested before you see the doctor.

What happens after I submit my query?

Medical queries will be triaged by one of the GPs. A member of the administration team will respond to you within 24 hours. Conditions that need to be assessed on the same day will be prioritised.

Will I get an appointment quicker if I speak to reception?

Our lines are remarkably busy; our patient triage service offers another way to contact the practice securely.

Do I need to see my GP?

If you have an everyday health condition you can use the Pharmacy First service to receive advice and treatment. For further information and for a list of participating pharmacies please click here.
